CURRENT SEASON :

Mary Trilogy

Written by Adrienne Dawes
Directed by Julianne Just

"Mary Trilogy" explores stories from various Greek tragedies in three American parts. A mother kills her children, a girl with a hatchet fights while another dies, and somewhere out there a monster waits. Containing three parts "La Madia Cycle," "Like Meat Love Salt," and "Mirabella" is a performance triptych, which reinvents both classic myth and folktale stories of Mary. Traveling through varied yet isolated landscapes: the suburban sweet home south, the rural mountains of Appalachia and finally the urban underground to discover MARY as witness, victim and avenger and sole survivor.
